Three timelines, and which one is yours.
The week below is the website timeline, and it covers most of what I do. Two things run differently, and it is worth knowing which you are before you read it.
Most websites: 5 business days
Starter, Standard and the Reskin. The day by day below is exactly this. A Starter can land in 3 if your content is ready. The clock starts the day your content arrives, not the day you order.
Custom builds: 2 to 4 weeks
Larger sites, ecommerce, booking, portals and integrations. Same shape as below, more of it, with a longer build phase and a second revision round. The real schedule comes with your quote.
Software: discovery first
Custom software does not have a fixed timeline, and anyone who gives you one before scoping is guessing. It starts with a paid 90 minute discovery session and a written spec, and the schedule arrives with the quote. How software works.

You provide your logo, brand colors, photos, and copy using a simple checklist. Don't have everything? Tell me, I'll adapt and help you fill the gaps.

I build your site on a private staging server.
I start from the layout that fits your business, apply your brand, place your content, configure your forms, and wire everything up. You won't see it yet, I want it polished before you do.

Process questions
What to expect, in plain English.
What do I need ready before the build starts?
Your logo (PNG or SVG), an idea of your colors, any photos you want to use, and the basic text for each page. I send a checklist, and I chase down whatever is missing rather than letting the project stall on it.
What if I need more than the included revisions?
Another full round is $149. If you already know you will want more room to move, say so on the consult and I will build it into the quote.
Do I need to be available during the build?
No. I need your content upfront, then I build. Most owners spend 30 to 60 minutes total on the whole project from their side.
What happens to my old website during the build?
Nothing. I build your new site on a private staging server. Your current site stays live until the moment you approve the new one and I flip the switch.
Can I make changes after launch?
Yes, that is what the Care Plan is for. Email me the change any time. I handle up to 30 to 120 minutes of changes a month depending on your plan.
What if I am slow getting my content to you?
No penalty, and I will chase what is missing. But the five day clock starts the day your content lands, and if it has not arrived within 30 days of ordering I hold your files and put the build in the next open slot rather than leaving it half finished.
What if I want to add features later?
I can add almost anything to your site: booking, e-commerce, galleries, review pages. I'll quote any additions before doing the work, so there are never surprises.
Do you use AI?
Yes, when it is the right tool for the job. I also use professional design software, development frameworks, automation and testing tools. I am not going to deliberately use slower or less capable tools to make a project look harder than it is.
What it does not do is make the work cheaper. You are paying for the result, the judgment behind it, and the fact that one person is accountable for it, not for how many hours something took.
AI does not decide what gets delivered. I direct the work, make the design and development decisions, refine the output, test everything, and take responsibility for the finished product.
